Tide is a group of dedicated twirling athletes that compete at National Baton Twirling Association (NBTA) and USTA local, state, regional, National and World championship competitions. The team is filled with students of various skill levels and ages, ranging from 3-22. Tide students compete as individuals, pairs, and as a dance-twirl team. Our twirlers have twirled at major Universities, like University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), San Diego State University (SDSU), University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV), University of Washington and University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Tide has twirlers that twirl all around the country, we are primarily located in San Diego County, we teach twirlers in person and on zoom.
My daughter has been twirling for less than two years, and has already attended Nationals twice because of Coach Catherine’s guidance. Her passion, knowledge, and support have helped create not only opportunities for the future, but a confident, hardworking, and winning twirler. We are very grateful for everything she does and inspired by her dedication and belief in her athletes and the team.
